For thousands of years, Galcon was tranquil, accepting, neutral... All races were one and conflicts rarely broke out and were quelled quite easily. All traveled freely from planet to planet and they had little or nothing to worry about. However, just less than a century ago, a new and unforeseen power began to arise.
Scilia (Sigh-lee-uh), a planet half way between the center and edge of the galaxy, conquered one single planet. The Council of Interplanetary Order (CIO) was baffled that they had done but assumed they would be unable to do much more, as it theoretically should have weakened their forces. What they didn't take into consideration was the planets complete lack of a military. In fact, nearly three-quarters of the galaxy was unarmed and left defenseless. That is how it had been for some time, simply because there was no need for such violence.
Because the CIO didn't do all too much prodding into Scilia's business, they continued their rampage and attacked yet another planet, instantly defeating it. This time, the CIO took action. They and five other powers of the now-named Alliance of Interplanetary Defense (AID) bombarded the Scilians homeworld in a desperate attempt to make them cease and desist all actions. However, they miserably failed as they were just not outfitted to fight.
Thus, the Scilian Empire conquered over half of the galaxy, leaving only a few planets in the outer most stretch untouched. These nations, for the most part, have begun to increase their war capabilities and research vast technologies. One group, though, has pledged their loyalty to the Scilians. The X703s have allied themselves with the Empire in an attempt to become powerful, like they were originally constructed to do. With the X703s, their ship Nemesis, and the Empire's already legendary power, they're advancing across Galcon at a horrifying pace.
In the Scilian Empire, all are oppressed, all lose their wealth, all have no dignity, all are alone, and all will quickly perish... Something must be done, or the end of the galaxy shall soon come to pass.
